What I don’t do–at least, not well–is netcode, and that’s where the other half of the development team, Shane Lynch, comes in. Schismatic sects have read different goals into the Inquisition’s ancient texts, finding just cause to shed Inquisitor blood in the name of some greater good. Salt and Sacrifice is suitable for all ages.But as with any storied institution, the Inquisition cracks with age, splinters emerging throughout. However, a new multiplayer option should appeal to those who enjoy a touch of real-time cooperative strategy. This game has been envisioned by the developers associated with Salt and Sanctuary, so many of the same elements are included. There are many secrets to be discovered and traps to be negotiated. This also provides plenty of room for resource farming. ![]() The side-scrolling nature of Salt and Sacrifice allows players to interact with numerous unique environments. These include melee items, as well as rune-based spells, opening up a host of offensive possibilities. One somewhat unique feature of this game is that players can craft skills and weapons from the flesh of recently defeated evil mages. ![]() Two players are supported at any given time, and a PvP option is available. Some users may prefer adopting a co-op approach as they ascend to higher levels because the bosses themselves can become quite formidable. Salt and Sacrifice is equipped with single and multiplayer modes.
